A series of photographs showing Castello di Gabbiano as part of the Italian way of life— enjoying life’s simple moments while creating memories.

opportunity
Unlike most wine brands, Castello di Gabbiano wines are made in a real castle situated right at the center of Tuscany, and the grapes are sourced from the surrounding vineyards. It has a rich Italian history, but the brand gets lost in the crowded wine aisle.

solution
To stand out from the rest and to highlight the authenticity of the Castello di Gabbiano brand, I lead a photoshoot at Castello di Gabbiano. We wanted to communicate to wine enthusiast that you don’t need to pay a fortune to enjoy life, or in this case a good wine. La dolce vita—the simple and joyful Italian lifestyle that we all dream about. The essence of this lifestyle was shown through a series of photographs in collaboration with Sophie Delauw, a food blogger and photographer from Florence. While at Castello di Gabbiano, we took the opportunity to take photographs of the wines at the location where they were made and also portraits of the Gabbiano Winemaker, Federico Cerelli, and General Manager, Ivano Reali to show our audience the people behind the Gabbiano wines.
