150 years ago, brothers Jacob and Frederick founded Beringer Winery and Distillery, today it is the quintessential Napa winery and is known globally. While a must-visit in the wine country, its popularity on the wine shelf has not seen a significant improvement. In contrast, the popularity of beer and brown liquor continue to appeal to millennials.

True to its roots, Beringer Brothers Bourbon Barrel-Aged Wines were created with the brothers’ optimism, foresight, and ambition. For authenticity, the wines are made by the Beringer brothers’ great-grandson, Mark Beringer and the packaging features a historical photograph of Jacob and Frederick in front of their Distillery. By infusing wine with bourbon we tapped into spirit drinkers’ interest to add Beringer to their cart. While honoring the past, the pioneering spirit of the brothers innovation continues with the augmented reality experience through Living Wine Labels app. This immersive feature encouraged shoppers to pick up a bottle, engage with the interactive label, and share their experience.
